Financial Controller - Nicosia - EUR 26,000-35,000 + Bonus
We are helping an established international tax advisory and corporate services firm expand their finance team in Nicosia.
This role is focused on preparing Group accounting records, management accounts and reports, handling tax and VAT statutory filings, and monitoring internal controls and financial forecasts. You will need to be an excellent finance professional who gets enjoyment from overseeing accounting operations and contributing to organizational growth.
This role involves office-based work with opportunities to oversee team members and collaborate with senior management on strategic projects.
Requirements
-Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, AIA, LCCI) required
-Minimum 2-4 years of prior experience in similar role
-Knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT legislation
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
-Fluency in Greek and English essential
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-Experience with payroll processing and statutory compliance
-Ability to oversee and manage accounting staff
