SOC Analyst L1 - Nicosia - Competitive Package
We are helping a cybersecurity organization expand their Security Operations Center team.
This role is focused on monitoring and analyzing security events, detecting and responding to potential security incidents, and ensuring overall security of organizational systems and networks. You will need to be an excellent analytical thinker who gets enjoyment from investigating security threats and protecting critical infrastructure.
This role involves working in a fast-paced SOC environment with opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
-Up to 2 years of experience in similar cybersecurity role
-Medium-level proficiency and hands-on experience with QRadar SIEM
-Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles
-Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and best practices
-Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and their security features
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong communication and collaboration skills
-Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environment
-Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus systems is a plus
-Basic understanding of vulnerability management and patching processes is a plus
-Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), or equivalent are a plus
Working Hours:

Morning, afternoon, and night shifts available.

Shifts are typically 8 hours or 12 hours.

The night shift is 12 hours.
