Junior Manual QA Tester – Nicosia – Competitive Package
We are helping an established technology company expand its Quality Assurance team in Nicosia.
This role is focused on ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of enterprise software applications through manual testing. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify defects, validate new features, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
-Review business and functional requirements to understand software features and expected behaviour
-Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios
-Identify, document, and report software defects clearly and accurately
-Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before software releases
-Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards
-Learn and apply software testing methodologies and industry best practices
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
-0–2 years of experience in Manual Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or a related technical role
-Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
-Basic knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management
-Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
-Basic SQL knowledge will be considered an advantage
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent attention to detail and a passion for software quality
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments or an ISTQB Foundation Certification will be considered an advantage
