Seeking a Junior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong fundamentals in cloud and DevOps, basic hands-on experience, and a strong motivation to grow in cloud engineering and automation. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers looking for structured learning and hands-on exposure to AWS-based DevOps environments.
This role is focused on supporting the design, automation, and operation of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications. You will collaborate with development and IT teams, follow SDLC best practices, and gain practical experience with AWS services, automation scripts, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Requirements
-Graduate or up to 1–2 years of relevant experience (core requirement)
-Basic Linux system administration and command-line usage (core requirement)
-Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python, Go, or Groovy (core requirement)
-Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD concepts (core requirement)
-Familiarity with version control tools such as Git (core requirement)
-Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, DroneCI, or similar (core requirement)
-Basic knowledge of AWS services and cloud architectures (core requirement)
-Basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, and security groups (core requirement)
-Fundamental understanding of Docker and containerized applications (core requirement)
-Introductory knowledge of Kubernetes, including pods, services, and deployments (highly desirable)
-Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation (highly desirable)
-Introductory knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet (highly desirable)

Responsibilities
-Assist in deploying and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure under guidance
-Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, DroneCI, or similar tools
-Develop and maintain basic automation scripts (Python, Go, Groovy, Bash)
-Work with containerized applications using Docker
-Assist with Kubernetes deployments and basic cluster operations
-Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
-Assist with configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools
-Perform basic Linux administration and troubleshooting
-Collaborate with development and IT teams following SDLC best practices
-Document configurations, procedures, and automation workflows
