Accounting & Tax Manager - Nicosia - Competitive Package
We are helping an international professional services firm with 21 offices across South East Europe, the Middle East and the Baltics expand their Corporate Accounting Department in Nicosia.
This role is focused on leading the Corporate Accounting Department, preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing client deadlines, and developing staff through performance management and mentorship. You will need to be an excellent team leader who gets enjoyment from improving processes and building strong client relationships.
This role offers hybrid working with 1 day work from home per week and Friday afternoons off, with opportunities for mobility and secondment across 21 international offices.
Requirements
-ACCA Qualification required
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
-Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management
-Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards
-Experience with tax compliance, including filing tax returns and responding to tax audits
-Fluency in English and Greek is a must
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Experience managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environment
-Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and MS Office
-Familiarity with software programs Cycom, Caseware will be considered an advantage
