Tech Lead - Nicosia - Attractive Package
We are helping a licensed payment institution regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus expand their Card Management System (CMS) leadership team with an experienced Tech Lead in Nicosia.
This role is predominantly focused on leading the development and maintenance of key CMS components, mentoring development teams, and driving technical excellence in their card issuing and transaction processing infrastructure. You will need to be an excellent leader who gets enjoyment from architecting solutions, leading technical teams, and ensuring mission-critical payment systems meet the highest standards.
This role is full-time on-premises (09:00-18:00) with opportunities to shape technical strategy and lead cross-functional teams in a regulated financial environment.
Requirements
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
-7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with proven leadership experience
-Expert-level knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and .NET development
-Strong experience with Linux application administration and Windows Server/IIS environments
-Proven experience leading development teams and mentoring junior developers
-Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices
-Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure development standards
-Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture
-Experience in regulated industries such as fintech, banking, or payment processing
-Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to drive technical decisions
