We are supporting a software development and technology consulting company looking to recruit a Back-End Developer to join their growing team.
The role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end applications and services that support custom software solutions for clients across various industries. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Responsibilities
-Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable back-end applications and services
-Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software development best practices
-Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations
-Ensure system reliability, security, and performance
-Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver end-to-end solutions
-Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions
-Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and development activities
-Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
-Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining development standards
-Investigate and resolve software defects and performance issues
-Document technical solutions and development processes
-Stay up to date with emerging technologies and development trends
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
-Minimum 2 years of experience in back-end development
-Experience with back-end development technologies and frameworks (C#, .NET)
-Experience developing and maintaining APIs
-Understanding of databases, software architecture, and system design principles
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively
