Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – High-Scale iGaming Infrastructure – Dubai – Competitive Package
We are supporting a high-growth iGaming organization in appointing a Chief Technology Officer to lead and scale its global technology platform.
This is a hands-on executive role responsible for the full technology ecosystem, including sportsbook performance, wallet and payments infrastructure, platform resilience, and security across high-risk, multi-jurisdiction markets. The CTO will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and always-on operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Own and evolve the end-to-end iGaming technology platform
-Lead and structure multi-disciplinary engineering teams (backend, frontend, DevOps, security, data, QA)
-Define architecture standards, engineering culture, and technical roadmaps
-Ensure high availability, low-latency sportsbook and wallet operations
-Oversee payment systems, PSP integrations, and transaction integrity
-Lead security, fraud-defence, and incident response frameworks
-Drive DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and disaster recovery strategy
-Technical Scope
-Backend technologies (Java, Kotlin, Go, Node.js, Python, or C#)
-Modern frontend frameworks and API-driven architectures
-Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes
-Event-driven systems, databases, and real-time processing
-Observability, monitoring, and performance optimization
Requirements
-10+ years’ experience in high-throughput platforms (iGaming, fintech, exchanges)
-Proven ownership of 24/7 transactional systems
-Deep understanding of sportsbook, wallet, and payment architectures
-Strong background in security- and fraud-sensitive environments
-Ability to operate hands-on while leading at executive level
